Log in to the PYNQ board

To use the PYNQ board you must connect it to your laptop and then log in to it.

• the user name is student
• the password is student

There are two main methods of doing this, and which method you'll use depends on the course you are taking.

• Log in to your PYNQ using Microsoft Visual Studio Code. This works pretty much the same way on Windows, macOS, and Linux, but for clarity we've split it up in three specific pages:
  • Visual Studio Code on Windows
  • Visual Studio Code on macOS
  • Visual Studio Code on Linux
• Log in to your PYNQ using MobaXterm for Windows. This only works on Windows.

If you are a command-line kind of warrior then you even have a third option:

• Log in to your PYNQ using secure shell (ssh). This works on Windows (using the PowerShell), macOS (using the Terminal), and Linux (using the Terminal).
